As India awaits the result of the second ODI against Australia, captain Virat Kohli has already made itΒ specialΒ by becoming the second male player ever, to hit 40 ODI centuries in international cricket.Β

The first being Sachin Tendulkar with 49 tons in 452 innings.

Now, we know that Virat is going to break that record sooner rather than later because he has achieved this feat in just 216 innings.

Virat also became the fastest cricketer to score 9000 international runs by a captain, today, completing his 50th half-century before he turned it into a 100.Β

Twitter was obviously flooded with reactions expressing pride for the captain, and here are some of them.Β

Oh captain, my captain - Are you even real?
