For the second time in this series, Virat Kohli left a ball he should not have and was dismissed for a low score. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, India were left in a bit of bother at tea with half the side back in the pavilion.
The Indian captain, who enjoyed a purple patch in Tests before this series started, has now had three low scores in the first three innings he has played against the Aussies.
Kohli’s 25 runs in 3 inns is his worst start to a Test series (min: 2 Tests) since his 1st series v WI, 2011 when he scored 4,15,0 #INDvAUS

The dismissal was greeted by pin-drop silence at the Bengaluru stadium. The decision to review a plumb LBW was just as bizarre as the decision to leave the ball.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the bizarre dismissal, proving once again that a bit of humour goes a long way in hiding disappointment.
Kohli’s judgment of leaving the balls is poorer than high court’s judgment of leaving Salman Khan. #IndvAus

Kohli rightly said “U ll not see poor performance like Pune again.”
Pune test 1st Innings he got out on duck. #IndvAus #INDvsAUS— Dr. Gill (@ikpsgill1) March 4, 2017
Too early to say but seems Kohli’s sensing pressure of greatness. It’s the biggest pressure a performer endures. SRT endured for 2 decades.

3 innings since Virat Kohli scored a century, haters won’t agree but this proves that he doesn’t play for records. #IndvAus #INDvsAUS

Pretty shameful that the Australians keep dismissing Kohli when he’s not even trying to hit it. How low will the ugly Aussies sink? #INDvAUS

Virat Kohli used to see whole team getting out from non-strikers end.
He still is but from the pavilion. #IndvAus #INDvsAUS #ViratKohli— Dr. Gill (@ikpsgill1) March 4, 2017

He might as well review a lost toss next game. #IndvsAus by @govind2weets pic.twitter.com/qe3WoiSeMS— Sunil Yash Kalra (@SunilYashKalra) March 4, 2017
One of these days, KL Rahul will review a Virat Kohli BOWLED dismissal – “let’s check for the no ball”, he’ll suggest#IndvAus

KL Rahul had to nod his head when Virat Kohli wanted to go for a review. That’s what an employee does to his managers #IndvAus
