India’s loss to New Zealand in the semi-final last night broke many hearts but safe to say, we are proud of the team for the way they played.
Going from 5-3 to 221 wasn’t easy, but our players showed some great spirit and everyone was appreciative of their efforts. Here’s how the celebrities reacted to the team’s loss last night (some feels ahead).

I thought I am an adult now, so won’t feel this Emotional. But contrary to my belief I cried and I cried like that 8 year old kid who felt same in d 1996 world cup. Cricket keeps d child within us alive. Thank you @msdhoni @imVkohli and team for such great world cup. #ICCCWC2019

Chill, guys. There’s no reason2disparage the #BoysInBlue. They had a great run in #CWC19, topped the table, lost only one match in the group stage. They’re still the best team in world cricket. Let’s praise them for their overall performance. Everyone has a bad day; this was it.

A good fight put up by @imjadeja & @msdhoni but @BLACKCAPS were exceptional today.
Congrats to 🇳🇿 on making it to the Finals & all the best for the same.
I felt #KaneWilliamson’s captaincy & composure played a crucial role in this result.#NZvIND pic.twitter.com/3sUlW21cgN

Watching @imVkohli answering questions at the press conf. Replying with poise, grace and wisdom. Guess he’d rather be with his teammates right now….but he’s doing his job brilliantly over here too. Must be tough. Great job Virat.#INDvNZL #INDvsNZ #CWC2019

It is convention to give the player of the match award to someone from the winning side. Matt Henry was fantastic today but the performance of the match came from Ravindra Jadeja. He is my player of the match.
