India’s first World Cup winning captain, Kapil Dev, has advised new Indian Test captain, Virat Kohli, to learn from the man who passed him the baton.

Kohli took the honours from MS Dhoni, who retired from Tests midway through the recent Australia series. Dev wants the Delhi hot-head to take responsibility like MSD.

The legendary all-rounder feels that Kohli is too aggressive on the field and allows the opposition to figure out what he is thinking. And that is a quality that a Test captain must not have!

Kohli will lead India in the one-off Test against Bangladesh starting June 10 and is most likely to register his first Test win as the leader. But in the longer run, he must do what Dhoni used to do: keep calm.
