The word legend is used too casually in cricket. But, not when it comes to Yuvraj Singh. Yesterday, the maestro had announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket.
After 25yrs in cricket Ive decided to move on. Cricket has given me everythin I have.ThankU 4being a part of this journey. This game taught me how to fight, how to fall,to dust off,to get up again n move forward. It has been a lovely journey. See you on the other side #SteppingOut pic.twitter.com/x3wOhoXcLv

While Yuvraj’s farewell speech was very emotional, it was also very obvious that he was disappointed by the way he was shutting the door on his long career.

Well, he wasn’t the only one.
You don’t know what you got till its gone. Love you brotherman You deserved a better send off. @YUVSTRONG12 pic.twitter.com/PC2cR5jtLl
— Rohit Sharma (@ImRo45) June 10, 2019
Soon after the Hitman’s tweet, Twitter started demanding a better farewell game for Yuvraj Singh.
Only if the BCCI knew how to honour India’s cricketing greats. “Rohit Sharma’s tweet ‘deserve a better send off’ gets Yuvraj Singh’s pain out in the open” @JantaKaReporter https://t.co/GKDsyKyHfG

The Hitman says it as it is. Yuvraj did indeed deserve a better send-off. But that’s sport and that’s life too. https://t.co/IbGG2PyXGO

Though he is not in Current Indian Team but he deserved a lot to retire with much more respect.
Don’t do it again like we did for Rahul Dravid.
