Craig Ervine’s blistering hundred gave Zimbabwe an improbable 7-wicket win over New Zealand in the high-scoring affair at Harare Sports Club.

New Zealand batted first and another score in the nineties by Kane Williamson (97) and Ross Taylor’s 16 th ODI ton (112*) took the Kiwis to 303/4.

Hamilton Masakadza (84) and Chamu Chibhabha (42) gave the hosts a very good start but it was Ervine (130* off 108 balls) who played the innings of the match.

This was Zimbabwe’s second win in their last 25 ODIs.
