Let me tell you what exactly the ‘biggest airplane’ means.
Scaled Composites Stratolaunch, the world’s biggest airplane, is unlike anything you have ever seen before.
The worlds largest plane has two fuselages and a wingspan longer than football field. What is its function? Oh, just bringing rockets to the edge of space. Say hello to Stratolaunch: pic.twitter.com/RNuCvv9few

Stratolaunch has two bodies, joined by wings that are longer than a football field (football field is 360 feet in length). To be exact, the wings are 385 feet long.

Designed to launch rockets, the plane can do laps between the surface of the earth and stratosphere, and launch rockets that would ignite their engines during ascent into space.

And it will do that with the maximum speed of 853 kilometres/hour and a radius range of 1,852 kilometres.

Founded by Paul G. Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft, the plane has undergone multiple tests in the run-up to its first flight in 2019.
