In its Hello Again event, Apple finally unraveled the new and long-anticipated MacBook Pro models along with a refreshed MacBook Air.

Apple’s latest innovation has been to replace the function keys with a small touch screen. Just for that, it raised the prices of the computers by several hundred dollars.

On social media, potential buyers were not so impressed by the new features and posted pictures of people crying about the new prices.

But that’s just in the United States. Like everything else Apple in India, the MacBooks will be expensive here. Like VERY expensive. Prepare to smirk at the prices!
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro (14.9 mm) with Touch Bar : This model which features a 2.9 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of flash storage will start at Rs 1,55,900 ($2,330).
In the US, it is priced at $1,799 (Rs 1,20,130). That is Rs 35,770 less !
The 15-inch MacBook Pro (15.5 mm) with Touch Bar: The base model which features a 2.6 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of memory and 256 GB of flash storage will start at Rs 2,05,900 ($3,080) in India.
The same costs Rs $2,399 in the US (Rs 1,60, 205). Again that’s Rs 45,695 less!
