If you call your pet a part of your family, how can you just abandon them. Lana is was the world’s saddest dog. She has been rejected twice. Thankfully for her, the story has a happy ending. The adorable canine has found a home for the third time, after facing eviction from a foster kennel and also being close to being put to sleep.

Lana is a special doggo. She was the runt of the litter, often had to fight for food, and was scared of everything. She was placed in a foster program where she stayed with families for small amounts of time, till she found a home when she was 5 months old.  

But in 2015, a photo went viral, that of Lana hunched in the corner with her forehead against the wall. According to Bored Panda, she snapped at her owner while being fed. Nervous about her behaviour and with little kids in the house, the family thought it best to return Lana to the shelter home.

That’s when Lana completely shut down. She no longer cared about anything, even walks. But the photo had gone so viral, that Lana did get a new home. But sadly that did not work out either. Lana is not the one to take heavy petting, which is what the family wanted. Hence she landed in the kennel again.

We don’t know yet as to who has chosen to foster Lana this time. But as soon as we do, we’ll be sure to update you with more lovely photographs.
