Pretty much the worst thing that can happen in a horror movie is if it says it’s based on true events.
Well, these people claim they saw ghosts in real life, and what’s creepier – caught them on camera.
1. The woman who went to a medieval witch prison and got possessed.
A group of paranormal researchers went to Essex, England to investigate a place called ‘The Cage’ where women accused of practicing witchcraft used to be imprisoned back in 1582.
Upon reaching there, they decided to perform a seance to contact the women who’d died there.
While another team watched the proceedings from another room.
But nothing could’ve prepared them for what they were about to see.
Right in front of their eyes, a participant’s face appeared to have started changing.
The team watched in horror as Debbie’s face apparently twisted in a devilish grin and then went back to being normal.
The incident freaked the team out so much that Debbie was immediately called back.
And to their horror, they realised that she apparently had burn marks all across her back, even though she was wearing a good layering of clothes.

2. The paranormal baby whose screams will give you nightmares.
Babies are cute.
But babies balancing themselves on the edge of their crib is just plain creepy.
The video starts with the baby crying his guts out.
It appears that he then starts lifting himself on the crib while crying ‘Papa’…
And then just stands on the edge of the crib while letting out a blood curdling scream.
Seriously, you need to listen to it to believe how horrific it sounds.
He seems to be opening opens his arms as if waiting for someone to pick him up.
And all this while, he maintains perfect balance on the crib.
But then suddenly, he seems to get pushed back into the crib by an invisible force.

3. The hospital stretchers that started moving on their own.
Filmed via a CCTV camera in Argentina, this eerie footage shows the stretchers apparently moving all by themselves.
There’s no wind around as you can see that the leaves are absolutely still.
While we don’t know how authentic the footage is, it does look super creepy.

4. The violent house ghost that started terrorising its occupant.
This one is not only scary but dangerous as well.
The video starts with the man documenting his house while narrating how the ghost had been troubling her.
He keeps moving the camera around his house.
At one point, he takes a quick pan shot of the room, and that’s when, we get a glimpse of the alleged ghost haunting his house.
The man also claims that the ghost had been turning more and more violent.
Fake? Real?

5. The haunted office with ghosts as bosses.
While the location of the video isn’t clear, some say it’s in Manchester.
Anyway, that’s not important. What’s important is the fact that as much as we want to believe it’s fake, it does look kinda real.
The chairs look like they’re moving on their own.
And drawers seem to be opening on their own.
Now we don’t know whether this is real or just another example of really good editing, but it sure is shocking to watch.

6. The possessed chair that forced these people to leave their house.
The video starts with a girl playing golf in her drawing room.
When suddenly, her door seems to open all by itself.
But what’s creepier is the fact that soon enough, the chair seemingly moves on its own.
