So, the teaser for Avengers: Endgame dropped a few days back. And it wasn't very pleasant. The galaxy's defenders are seen to be broken down, worn out, and on the verge of dying.
You know a part of you snapped when you saw Tony stuck in a ship, drifting away in space, with no food, water, and very little air.
I’m sure Avengers: Endgame will be awesome but all I REALLY want now is a whole two hour long “Tony Stark: Lost in Space” movie that plays out like an infinitely snarkier and more sarcastic version of The Martian/Gravity/Moon. pic.twitter.com/KiGzXFH4jt— Brian Altano (@agentbizzle) December 7, 2018
We want our billionaire-playboy-philanthropist to survive. And so do people across Twitter.
#SaveTonyStark has taken over the internet in a frantic attempt to save him.
Listen @NASA you saved good old Matt Damon when he was stuck out in space....so do the right thing and get out there and save earths greatest defender @Iron_Man we need him, we’re in the endgame now @Avengers @MarvelStudios #AvengersEndgame #SaveTonyStark— 🔰Nursey🔰 (@DavidNurse1) December 9, 2018
NASA and Elon Musk, the two giants in space exploration, are being called upon by Twitterati to save the man who ran out of snacc.
NASA should get its priorities right. Smh.
Listen @NASA forget about exploring mars and save my guy Tony Stark who’s adrift in space with zero promise of rescue. Food and water ran out 4 days ago and oxygen will run out tomorrow morning.— sᴜᴍᴍᴀя (@sshxh_) December 9, 2018
@MarvelStudios @Russo_Brothers plss request @NASA to send a search party for Tony Stark @RobertDowneyJr ..ask them to find him from their satellite..tell them to do whatever they can or else we Indians will burn down NASA to ground..😭😭😭😤😤😤..#savetonystark— Anutosh Raj (@RajAnutosh) December 9, 2018
...and Nebula too. Forgot about her.
Hey @NASA there’s a ship stuck in space, the “Benatar” it’s occupying two heroes who we need to defeat the Titan “Thanos”. Their names are “Tony Stark” also known as “Iron Man”, and “Nebula”, we’d be grateful if you used your vast resources to rescue them because— adultish bambino (@frickin9heck) December 9, 2018
NASA wasn't really up for it at first.
But they finally saw the teaser and their cold hearts melted.
Hey @Marvel, we heard about Tony Stark. As we know, the first thing you should do is listen in mission control for “@Avengers, we have a problem.” But if he can’t communicate, then we recommend ground teams use all resources to scan the skies for your missing man pic.twitter.com/zavXrsPljq— NASA (@NASA) December 9, 2018
People had a clue about where the ship might be.
Desi Twitter called upon ISRO.
...and also this.
We hope that Tony survives this cause honestly, MCU can never be complete without him.
