Joy knew no bounds when 26-year-old Kimberly Tucci, from Australia, discovered that she was pregnant. Just like other couples, she and her husband Vaughn were extremely happy to welcome their third child into the world. But the couple was in for a surprise when the doctors told them that Kimberley was expecting not one, but five children!

There’s a one in 55 million chance that a woman naturally conceives quintuplets, and Kim is a proud mother to join the club. Her entire journey has been documented by photographer Erin Elizabeth, and she looks no less than a goddess in the pictures.

Kimberly has two daughters with her husband Vaughn and a 9-year-old son from her previous marriage. Pictures of pregnant Kim went viral on the Internet right after the shoot.

It was when the couple decided to try for the third time, for a boy, that she got naturally pregnant with quintuplets. When she discovered it, her reaction was:

‘My legs start to shake uncontrollably and all I can do is laugh. The sonographer then told me the term for 5 is Quintuplets!!’

In January this year, Kimberly gave birth to her quintuplets, in just two minutes. “50 fingers 50 toes, 6 hearts beating at once”, is how she describes her little bundles of joy.

The magnificent newborns, four girls and one boy, are in good health and have been named Tiffany, Keith, Penelope, Allie, and Beatrix.

To share the experience of her unusual pregnancy, Kimberly started a Facebook page titled ‘Surprised by Five‘ which soon became a hit, especially among mothers.

As a sweet gesture, Huggies Australia donated one year’s worth of nappies for the kids!

Presently, it takes 3 separate cars for the couple to travel anywhere with their children and they dream to have one that can fit their entire family. To help them, Kimberly’s grandmother set up a GoFund me page for people to contribute.

You too can contributehereandmake the family’s dream come true.
