Ever since we were young, we were taught that board-games and outdoor sports were different. And they are. Which is perhaps why never in history have we ever explored a mash-up of chess and boxing. Yes, you read it right.
Chess + Boxing = An actual sport
The idea is to get two players to face off against each other in a boxing ring, in full boxing attire and have them have a go at it. Once the first round ends, a chess board is introduced in the middle of the ring, where the same opponents who had been trying to knock each other out, sit and start a game of chess.
The match ends either with a KO or a checkmate. Here’s a video that will clear things up.
