By now, you know Ahmed’s story very well. He was arrested on Tuesday for taking a homemade clock to school after authorities thought it was a bomb.
Since then, support has been pouring for him. Some extremely high-profile people have also been tweeting to show their support.
Like Hillary Clinton.
Assumptions and fear don’t keep us safe—they hold us back. Ahmed, stay curious and keep building. https://t.co/ywrlHUw3g1

And even the POTUS.
Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.

People even started posing with their clocks to show their support for Ahmed.

And pointed out why the entire incident was ridiculous.
I saw this guy at LaGuardia Airport just now. Should I report him as a terrorist? #IStandWithAhmed pic.twitter.com/faFmFEln0c

In the middle of all the support, there were people who did not shy away from not showing their support. Like Taslima Nasreen.
If I could see Ahmed Mohamed’s home made clock,I would hv mistaken his thing for a bomb. Why ppl think Muslims can bring bombs?Cause they do
