One of the biggest WWE superstars of all times Joanie Laurer, better known as Chyna, passed away on Wednesday evening according to a report by ProWrestlingSheet. While no foul play has been suspected, there seems to be a strong possibility of drug overdose.

In an illustrious wrestling career spanning almost 16 years, Chyna made her WWE debut as Triple H’s ‘bodyguard’, and often employed unfair means to help him win matches.

In 1999, Chyna became the first woman ever to participate in Royal Rumble although many male wrestlers were dead against the idea of a woman beating them in the ring.

That same year, Chyna also became the first woman to enter the King of the Ring tournament and defeated Jeff Jarrett.

Chyna later had an on-screen romance with another WWE legend Eddie Guerrero. Ironically, Eddie Guerrero too passed away in 2005.

Often touted as the ‘Ninth Wonder Of The World’ (Andre the Giant being the eighth), Chyna also battled depression and substance abuse.

Perhaps her split from her then boyfriend Triple H, also contributed partially to her depression.

Later on, Chyna became an adult film actress and made 6 films.

R.I.P Chyna! You’ll be missed!
