We all know that cars come with airbags for the passenger’s safety and to minimise damage in accidents. But did you know there exists a similar product for cyclists too?
Sweden has come up with Hövding, an airbag for cyclists, which helps them prevent injuries during an accident.
Hövding, the world’s first airbag to protect cyclists from injuries, is a hi-tech airbag in the shape of a collar which makes use of its sensors to track its movements and reacts by inflating in a tenth of a second providing protection to a cyclist’s neck and head.
