While we stumble on n number of captivating wardrobes in almost every typical TV show/film, there are certain characters that get registered for their iconic dress sense. The bling, the frill, and the thrill, these style icons mesmerise us every time they come on screen and we’re all thieves for their wardrobe-
1. Tara Khanna from Made In Heaven
Tara, played by Sobhita Dhulipala, donned some iconic outfits in the show. From crop tops styled with sarees, to sharp pant-suits paired with traditional chokers, this character single-handedly raised the bar for fashion in Indian cinema.
Her iconic dresses are here to stand the test of time.
2. Tahani-Al-Jamil from The Good Place
It’s hard to pick a favourite from Tahani’s wardrobe. ‘Cause literally all of her clothes belong to the good place hall of fame. Played by Jameela Jamil, Tahani’s wardrobe is mostly comprised of floral and pastel gowns and dresses, styled with effortlessly curled hair and pearl necklaces.
Tahani falls into the realm of an unexpected style icon for me: she modernizes the classic prim & proper, with tea-length skirts and dresses, ruffles, lots of floral prints, and sunhats with brims as wide as they come.

The next best thing after Keanu Reeves in this film, was Sasha Tran AKA Ali Wong’s wardrobe. And also her iconic cat-eye spectacles.

12. Madeline from Big Little Lies
Madeline Martha Mackenzie, played by Reese Witherspoon, has the most enviable collection of outfits. Fairly recognised as one of the most stylish shows, almost all the outfits worn on it are lust-worthy.
Few notes while watching Big Little Lies:

1. I need all Reese Witherspoon’s outfits.
2. I need all of the houses
3. These people are nuts
13. Gemma Chan from Crazy Rich Asians
From the iconic golden jumpsuit to the wedding dresses- all the outfits from Crazy Rich Asians deserve a mention. But, can we take a moment to appreciate Gemma Chan’s wardrobe? Pure class, I say.
14. Rachel from Crazy Rich Asians
Constance Wu’s character’s wardrobe was as sophisticated as it was extra. From frills and florals to straightaway bling, her dresses inspire!
15. Cookie Lyon from Empire
The list is not complete without mentioning Cookie Lyon, played by Taraji Henson. This powerhouse can pull off any number of animal prints, strong colours, and statement hats. You name it, Cookie has done it.
I aspire to dress how Cookie Lyon dresses in every episode on Empire some day
