If there’s one positive we can draw from India’s 2019 World Cup campaign, it is the supremacy of our bowlers, who after so long are finally being credited for their consistent performances.

Out of them all, one in particular has impressed the world and became a household name already. Yes, we are talking about our death overs specialist, Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah has been the soul of India’s bowling unit & everyone who watched him bowl was awestruck, almost immediately.

Including an elderly woman dressed in a sari, running and imitating Bumrah’s run-up with a plastic ball in her hand.

After the 87-year-old superfan Charulata Patel won everyone’s hearts with her antics, another such passionate fan proved to us that age is just a number and cricket in India is no less than a religion.

This elderly woman’s performance in her living room went viral and netizens appreciated her enthusiasm.

But that was not all, Bumrah himself was delighted to see the old fan’s enthusiasm and later retweeted the video.

Of course, other Twitter users didn’t wait and joined the action.

We may not have won the World Cup but Bumrah’s yorkers, maiden overs and more than reasonable economy rate, surely won all the hearts.

Bumrah claimed 18 wickets in 9 matches on an average of 20.61 with an impressive economy rate of 4.41 runs per match.
