After watching the award-winning and internationally glorified film Masaan , even the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, couldn’t help but tweet his feelings and appreciation for actor Richa Chadha. Chadha too responded to the CM’s tweet. The film had won the Promising Future Prize and the International Federation of Film Critics Award at the Cannes International Film Festival earlier this year.

Actor Richa Chadha, director Neeraj Ghaywan, Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment and Manish Mundra of Drishyam Films were all present with Kejriwal at the screening of the movie.
“It’s an honour for team Masaan that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal watched our film and appreciated it. It’s a huge encouragement for an indie film,” said Monga as reported by sources of NDTV . The film is based on two young couples, whose lives get intertwined by fate. It is set on the ghats of the river Ganga in Varanasi, in the backdrop of a crematorium. Chadha, Sanjay Mishra, Vicky Kaushal and Shweta Tripathi play pivotal roles in the movie.
The film has acquired positive publicity as stars like Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin, Radhika Apte, Rajkumar Rao, Farhan Akhtar and Ayushmann Khurrana have given positive reviews to the film.
