Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post of Congress president yesterday, accepting the responsibility of the party’s debacle in the Lok Sabha elections 2019.

A day after his resignation, his sister and party leader, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra lauded him for his ‘courageous’ decision.

She took to Twitter to support him and show respect to his decision.
Few have the courage that you do @rahulgandhi. Deepest respect for your decision. https://t.co/dh5JMSB63P

Earlier, when Priyanka Gandhi entered into politics, Rahul talked about how they always give each other the needed space and have been together through hell.
Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi made his resignation letter public and said that he is no longer the party president.
It is an honour for me to serve the Congress Party, whose values and ideals have served as the lifeblood of our beautiful nation.
