Sex education is important. Well, most Indian elders might not think so, but trust us, it is. And no, sex ed is not erotica in an NCERT science book. It teaches you about your own body and the bodies of others. It teaches you about good touch & bad touch. It teaches you to respect others’ boundaries and most importantly about STDs.

And while you might think, you learn that anyway when you grow up. Well, it’s mostly rumours and myths you come across. Or porn; which again cannot be relied upon. You don’t believe us? Take a look at some of the myths that most of us thought were true about sex.

Now, a lot of them might just strike as innocence but remember, some real shit goes down with thousands of people every day because our schools do not provide us with sex education.
