Tonight is going to extra ‘shaandaar’ in Bigg Boss 16. It’s Shanivaar Ka Vaar after all. After the dhamakedaar entry of Salman Khan, the host in Shukravaar Ka Vaar episode yesterday, we will get to watch Goodbye stars Neena Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna sharing the stage with him. The eighth episode will also get spicier as the contestants will be granted tags of either ‘hit’ or ‘flop’ by their housemates based on how they performed in the first week. Of course, there will be more drama as you read about it all in our live updates.

Salman Khan had begun the episode by asking housemates, who were not invited for the exclusive party last night. Salman picked Ankit Gupta saying, “lag nahin raha hai aapko party mein na aane ka fark pada hai”. To which, Ankit replied, “Jo cheez mere liye hai wo mujhe mil jaegi.”
After a while, Salman announced that tonight will be ‘Saam Daam Dand Bhed’ and asked the meaning of the phase with housemates.
Salman then started a hit and flop task in which contestants rated other housemates based on their performances and how they felt about them. In the task, they were asked to put garland on contestants’ neck if they think they are a hit or spray foam on their face if they are a flop. Salman also asked them to reveal the reasons behind their opinions.
After the task, Salman announced that Ankit got most flop votes and took a short break.

Salman came back along with Goodbye stars Neena Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna to promote their recently-released film. Rashmika asked Salman to say his ‘life mein teen cheezein kabhi underestimate nahin karna, I me and myself’ dialogue from film, Ready in Telugu. Rashmika taught him and Salman repeated after her. Salman then translated ‘aap devil ke piche devil aapke piche too much fun’ dialogue from his film, Kick in Telugu.
Salman asked Rashmika to perform the hook step of ‘Saami Saami’, the song from her film, Pushpa. Both Salman and Neena performed the step along with Rashmika.
Salman then made all the housemates meet Neena and Rashmika through big screen and introduced them to the stars.

Salman introduced next stage, ‘Daam’ saying the contestants will be first shown the prize for which they will have to perform a task. Shalin was the first one to participate. Salman showed chicken as his prize. Shalin danced to a song from Bajrangi Bhaijaan but lost.
Manya Singh, the next contestant, was asked to make other housemates wear customised sachets. She put ‘footage ki bhooki’ sachets on Priyanka and Archana. Manya won the task.
After a few moments later, Salman asked every contestant to mouth ‘pushpa naam sunkar flower samjhe kya…” dialogue from Rashmika’s film, Pushpa. Both Neena and Rashmika requested everyone to watch Goodbye and left the stage.
Salman then started ‘Bhed’ task in which he shared that every contestant will divide themselves according to their opinions. He then asked them to choose a contestant they think do not deserve captainship.
Nimrit, Priyanka, Abdu, and Gori received most votes in the task. Salman then asked those contestants to choose one partner, who will participate in the challenge with them. Salman shared that they have to lift their partners and the ones who drops them will lose the chance to become captain. Gori lost the task as she dropped Shiv.
Salman then announced that no one will be eliminated from the show this week and left.
Shalin and Tina resumed their tiff from the previous episode. Sumbul, who was trying to talk to Shalin, got pissed off at his attitude and went away. However, later Shalin and Sumbul hugged each other.
Shalin then spoke to MC Stan about the time he called the former ‘fake’.
Meanwhile, Tina got pissed off at Gautam saying no one asked about how she is feeling after fighting with Shalin. Priyanka discussed her equation with Ankit while recalling the times they worked together in Udaariyaan. Priyanka called their bond “one-sided”.
Tina stressed on groupism while talking to Gautam. “We are breaking the team,” she said. They were discussing how they support each other in the BB house.
Tina also got pissed off at Shalin for inviting Sumbul to yesterday’s dinner. “Ab tumko Sumbul se bhi problem hai?” Shalin asked.
Archana and Priyanka got into fight over cooking rice. Archana denied to prepare it as Sumbul didn’t provide raw rice to her beforehand. Later, Sumbul said, “Mujhe believe nahin ho raha hai main chawal ke liye lad rahi thi.” Nimrit told Sumbul that it is her responsibility. Nimrit then went to Archana that she will not cook rice if Sumbul doesn’t provide it on time.
Archana got irritated and shouted, “Main pagal ho chuki hoon. Pagal bana rakha hai in logon ne.” Nimrit then asked Priyanka to stop influencing Archana.
Nimrit, who was not feeling well, got teary-eyed and asked everyone stop fighting over cooking. “Koi humanity nahin hai,” Nimrit said. Gautam then consoled Nimrit and offered her a glass of water. “Abhi to ek hafta hua hai pagal kardenge ye log,” she added.
The episode ended with Archana and Abdu discussing about spicy food and hugging each other.
